High Society Late Night Jazz with surprise guests

Jack Hackett's proudly present High Society Smokin Hot Five – the original crew, busting out some well-known jazz infused with modern aesthetics, it's late and time to let loose. Having recently become the home of Wellington's Blues Club..it seemed appropriate to continue on the music vein that runs deep in Wellington with the 2019 Wellington Jazz Festival.

The vivacious High Society will again descend upon the good people of Wellington to celebrate, undulate and totally encapsulate the movement of jazz from the early 20th Century to now. Perhaps the Prohibition led to it, maybe it's the roaring 20's that started it, but it's all jazz and everything else that matters.

Expect some fireworks of talent and personality, with Nicole Chesterman Kircher on vocals, Phil Costello M.C skills, sax and conga, Bob Keeton on keys and organ, Greg Crayford on drums and Mike Duffy on double-bass.
High Society are the quintessential act that captures the naughtiness, the splendour, the sex appeal and the decadence of old Hollywood.
