John Pål Inderberg is the elder statesman of Norwegian Jazz.
Over a career spanning five decades he has collaborated, toured and recorded with such jazz legends as Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, Gil Evans and Warne Marsh. Blending free flowing jazz improvisation with traditional Norwegian folk melodies, the music of the John Pål Inderberg Trio unique and compelling.
John Pål Inderberg is joined by drummer Håkon Mjåset Johansen who has collaborated with Motif, Jan Garbarek, and Sonny Simmons, and bass player Trygve Waldemar Fiske who is emerging as one of the brightest lights in Norwegian jazz.
